The Herald of Advanced Information Technology (HAIT) welcomes original research articles that contribute to the advancement of computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, information technologies, computer systems, cybersecurity, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality manuscripts presenting novel theoretical developments, methodological contributions, experimental results, practical applications, or comprehensive reviews relevant to the journal's scope.


Before You Submit

 

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • the manuscript falls within the journal’s aims and scope;
  • the work is original and has not been published previously;
  • the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal or conference;
  • all authors have approved the submitted version and agree to its submission;
  • all necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted materials, figures, tables, or datasets;
  • the manuscript complies with the journal's ethical standards and publication policies.

Types of Manuscripts

 

The journal accepts the following categories of submissions:

  • Original Research Articles;
  • Review Articles;
  • Applied Research and Case Studies;
  • Interdisciplinary Research Papers related to advanced information technologies.

Language Requirements

 

All manuscripts must be submitted in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is written in clear and grammatically correct English. Manuscripts with insufficient language quality may be returned for revision prior to peer review.


Manuscript Preparation

 

Manuscripts must be prepared using the journal’s official template and comply with the formatting requirements described in the Manuscript Preparation Guide.

The manuscript should include:

  • Title of the article;
  • Author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, and contact information;
  • Abstract and keywords;
  • Main text organized into appropriate scientific sections;
  • References formatted according to the journal requirements;
  • Conflict of Interest Statement;
  • Funding Information (if applicable);
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable).

Submission Process

 

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

During submission, authors may be required to provide:

  • the manuscript file in Microsoft Word format;
  • a signed consent for personal data processing (if applicable);
  • additional files, datasets, or supplementary materials supporting the research.

Peer Review

 

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a double-anonymous peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers.

Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Publication Ethics

 

The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors must comply with the journal’s policies regarding:

  • Plagiarism Prevention;

Failure to comply with these policies may result in rejection, correction, retraction, or other editorial actions.


Originality and Plagiarism Screening

 

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection software before peer review.

Submitted manuscripts must be original works and appropriately acknowledge the contributions of other authors. Cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct will be handled in accordance with the journal’s ethical policies.


Copyright and Open Access

 

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.


Article Processing Charges

 

The journal operates under an open access publishing model. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only after acceptance of the manuscript.

  • Initial editorial assessment: approximately 15 days;
  • Peer review process: approximately 8 weeks;
  • Average time from submission to publication: approximately 6 months.

  • all references are complete and properly formatted;

Submissions that do not comply with these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction prior to peer review.
